I am directed to transmit to you copy of a letter

from the Captain Superintendent of Police and of its enclosures

and to request you to bring the case of piracy therein referred

to, to the notice of the Viceroy with a view to the perpetrators

being arrested and punished.

The frequency of these outrages appears to merit

the serious attention of the Provincial Government and I shall

be glad if you will make a strong representation to the Viceroy

in bringing the case to his notice, and urge upon His Excellency

the importance of stringent measures being taken.
